Affiliate + Partner Programs

The Alliance's Affiliate + Partner programs support the residency field through a variety of platforms, services and grants. Learn more about how AAC Affiliates are advancing the work of artist residencies and the artists they serve.



Submittable | Used by over 9000 organizations, Submittable is a cloud-based application management system that simplifies the applications process. Create custom application forms and easily accept fees. Accept all kinds of files, including videos, images, and documents, with each application. Review and manage applications from your browser on any device. Share, rate, label, and comment on submissions with other reviewers. Get precise feedback from reviewers on particular criteria by designing a custom review form. Communicate with applicants via custom email templates. 3Arts | 3Arts is a nonprofit organization that advocates for Chicago’s women artists, artists of color, and artists with disabilities who work in the performing, teaching, and visual arts. By providing cash awards, project funding, residency fellowships, professional development, and promotion, 3Arts helps artists take risks, experiment, and build momentum in their careers. Sustainable Arts Foundation | The Sustainable Arts Foundation is a non-profit foundation supporting artists and writers with families. SAF supports parents pursuing creative work through iindividual artists awards, and through supporting residencies in adapting programs to better accomodate parent artists. [more information at]

Americans for the Arts | Through a partnership with Americans for the Arts, all AAC members now have a membership in the Arts Action Fund. This fund engages citizens in education and advocacy in support of the arts and arts education. [more information at]
Fractured Atlas | AAC members can access a variety of Fractured Atlas programs, including liability insurance, consultation on international visiting artist visas, member discounts on professional development programs, and more. [more information at]
