Anderson Ranch Arts Center Now Accepting Applications

Snowmass Village, CO – Anderson Ranch Arts Center is accepting applications
for its Fall 2013 and Spring 2014 artists residency program for established
and emerging visual artists. Twenty-eight artists will be selected, 14 per
each residency segment, from a juried pool of applicants for the coveted
spots. “We offer residencies to emerging and established artists of
recognized excellence from around the world to pursue their creative process
in our supportive community,” commented Executive Director Barbara

Residencies will be awarded in these areas: ceramics, photography & digital
media, painting & drawing, sculpture, woodworking & furniture design and
printmaking. As part of the program, resident artists have access to all of
the Anderson Ranch studios and support staff, and are encouraged to
experiment with cross-disciplinary work. Residents live and work at Anderson
Ranch for a 10-week period.

There are no specific educational qualifications for entry into the program.
Finalists are chosen by an independent jury of established working artists
and are selected based upon artistic merit. Resident artists are provided
with studio space, housing, meals and studio support, and are required to pay
only a nominal residency fee. Funding will be available to sponsor the
residency fee for specially selected individuals. The residency program is
underwritten by a number of generous donors, foundations and the National
Endowment for the Arts.

Anderson Ranch is accepting applications for Fall 2013/Spring 2014
residencies until Feb. 15, 2013. Apply online at
