Call for Nominations for Alliance Board of Trustees

The call for nominations for the Alliance of Artists Communities Board of Trustees is now open. Board service is a chance to grow personally and professionally, develop skills, gain unique experience and make lasting connections with a team of other passionate and motivated professionals.

The Alliance of Artists Communities is seeking individuals who are committed to supporting artists, knowledgeable about residency programs, and interested in helping AAC continue to advance its mission to advocate and support artist communities. The Alliance strives for a governing board that reflects the diversity of the field it serves.

Help lead the Alliance into the future by nominating a colleague or yourself to be considered for election in October 2018. In addition to representatives from the field of artist residencies (staff and board members of residencies), we encourage the nomination of artists and other critical perspectives in the arts, philanthropy, business, and law.

AllianceTrustees are expected to:

  • Serve three-year terms
  • Participate in three in-person meetings per year
  • Be affiliated with an AAC member organization

To nominate, please review the following and submit the Board Nomination Form by May 7, to info@artistcommunities.org.
