La Napoule Art Foundation Offers Fall Residencies to Artists Affected by Hurricane Sandy

La Napoule Art Foundation (LNAF) will offer eight artists affected by Hurricane Sandy a month-long residency at the Ch√Ęteau de La Napoule in Mandelieu-La Napoule, France. This program will bring together artists with diverse experiences of a shared event for reflection, exchange, and creation.

LNAF recognizes that the storm affected artists in a variety of ways. For many, Sandy created a financial burden from damaged studios, homes, materials, or artwork. For others, however, the effects of the storm were less tangible. This residency offers artists renewed inspiration after disruption to the creative process, or simply a place to process what they witnessed during the storm. The residency is open to all who experienced and felt the effects of Hurricane Sandy.

LNAF will provide selected artists with a $1,000 stipend as well as housing, studio space, and most meals. To apply or for more information, please visit http://www.lnaf.org/residencies/upcoming-deadlines or contact the US office at 603-436-3040.

Deadline: March 15, 2013
Residency Dates: October 8 - November 5, 2013
