Zoom Online Meet-Up | Application Submission and Review

Join AAC and your residency colleagues for a series of online meet-ups on the Zoom video conferencing platform. Launched in 2017, these informal meet-ups cover a range of residency-specific topics and offer members a chance to connect, share ideas and troubleshoot challenges.  We're excited to continue our 2018 Zoom schedule with another Tech Talk - the third in an ongoing series examining tech platforms and data management practices within the residency field.

Tech Talk - Part 3 | Application Submission and Review
Thursday, May 10th, 2018
2pm-3pm EST

In this session, we’re covering applications - and the software platforms artist residency leaders are using to to collect, process and analyze them.  We’ll discuss how an organization’s software needs are affected by scale of the applicant pool, format of selection process, and nature of the work submitted. There’s a wide range of options, from Google Forms up to full-featured platforms and even custom solutions. Hear from leaders on their experience with two leading platforms and ways they have adjusted their application over time. We’ll leave ample time for an open discussion about the challenges and successes your program has had with its own applications

These online meet-ups are designed not only to present helpful information, but to initiate conversations among members. We hope participants will find peers who are succeeding or struggling with similar issues, and continue the conversation after the session. Presentations by Regin Igloria and Amy Sinclair (Ragdale) and Dana Jones (VCCA). Moderated by Tony Grant (Sustainable Arts Foundation).

Open to all staff of AAC member programs. Sign up by submitting this form.
