Creative Writing Residency | Paris College of Art

The Creative Writing Residency at Paris College of Art is a year-long program which uniquely combines academic rigor and focus on writerly craft with an emphasis on innovation and experimentation. Through intensive semester-long reading and writing workshops you will build up a varied portfolio of creative writing in the first semester. In the second, you will receive one-to-one mentoring and guidance as you develop an individual writing project and are exposed to a range of contemporary practices and special topics through short, one-off workshops led by guest speakers and PCA faculty. The year culminates in a publishing workshop exploring contemporary forms of book-making and distribution in which you will collaborate with students and faculty from other PCA departments (communication design, illustration, fine art?) to publish a micro-edition, whether print or web-based, of a sample of their own work.

The Creative Writing Residency will commence in Fall 2016.
