Nocefresca is a residency that brings together artists, designers, writers and creative nomads from around the world.
Our objective is for artists to focus on their projects while experiencing the inspiring environment of Sardinia island, Italy. We hope to give artists a place where they can draw from the islands rich historical, natural and cultural references.
Away from the constraints of everyday life and far enough from the pressures of big cities, each participant can have access to a fully equipped workplace, accommodations and professional support.
During their stay, they are encouraged to explore new projects, self-direct their research, and cultivate new creative paths — all while surrounded by a small community of creative minds with all ages and geographical origins, within the cozy rural villages of the island.
Offering stimuli in every form from nature and exploration to social interactions and historical insights, this program is designed to equip each artist with an ideal workspace and the opportunity to engage in creativity through discussion, learning and experimentation.
Starting with an exploration of the artist’s interests and objectives, nocefresca designs a tailored residency plan that reflects the unique locations and creative opportunities available in Sardinia.
In this way, artists will have access to the experiences and activities that best support their artistic projects, even in the delicate initial phase, when every result is still uncertain.
We are happy to announce a last-minute-open call to welcome one artist in the Nocefresca Residency Program during 5th October - 2nd November 2022.
