Virtual Event
Technology has the potential to improve the residency experience for artists and staff alike. From artist feedback and site management to donor outreach and scheduling, more residency programs are turning to technology to streamline processes, improve organization and track important information. However, with the countless platforms and programs out there, it can be difficult to determine the best technology for your program.
Join your peers for ACA’s upcoming #ResidenciesConnect session to discuss all things technology — what you’re looking for, what has worked, and what hasn’t. This session will begin with a share out from a few residency programs followed by breakout sessions for deeper discussion and resource exchange.
Presenters will include:
- Jerod Rivers, Conference Director, Folk Alliance International
- Kathryn Banks, Development Director, The Hambidge Center for the Creative Arts & Sciences
- Violet Brooks, Director of Community Engagement, Protohaven
This event is free for current ACA members. Register by Wednesday, July 27.
All workshops will be captioned and ASL interpreted. ACA is committed to providing full access to all. Please send accessibility and accommodation inquiries and requests to programs@artistcommunities.org by Thursday, July 21.
If you would like to become an ACA member, join the network. If your membership has lapsed or you are unsure of your membership status, contact ACA’s Engagement Coordinator, Miranda Macaulay Miller at mmiller@artistcommunities.org. Please do not register for this session if you are not a current ACA member — ACA staff will verify the membership status of all registrants.
