nina is a California-based cultural organization dedicated to restoring the conditions that allow creative lives to flourish.
We believe creativity flows more freely when people feel safe, supported, connected, and inspired. In response to shrinking creative infrastructure and increasing economic pressure, we create beautiful, financially accessible spaces where artists can gather, make work, build meaningful relationships, and discover new opportunities.
Today, this takes shape through a community space in Atwater Village, Los Angeles, and an artist residency in Idyllwild, California.
Our Atwater Village space serves as a year-round creative home, offering free coworking, creative workshops, exhibitions, artist talks, performances, and gatherings within a welcoming, culturally vibrant community.
Our Idyllwild residency provides LGBTQ+ artists with dedicated time and space to focus on their creative practice in a peaceful mountain setting.
Together, these spaces form a continuous ecosystem for creative life: daily space to gather, dedicated time away to go deeper. A rhythm artists can return to again and again.
