Civitella Ranieri Foundation

Emerging Program member

Located in a 15th century castle in the Umbrian region of Italy, Civitella Ranieri Center has been a workplace for gifted artists from various disciplines and countries since 1995. Civitella Ranieri Fellowships are awarded through a careful nomination and jury process by a rotating group of distinguished professionals that ensures access to a highly diverse group of emerging and accomplished candidates from around the world. Only nominated artists may apply.

Travel expenses are covered by the Fellowship. There is a small fund for those who need financial assistance while in residence for art supplies, field trips, gas expenses, etc.

Location

Umbertide: Italy

The residency is located in Umbertide, a small town in Umbria in between Rome and Florence. Perugia is the closest larger town.
