🌿📣 Barcelona Fall Residency 2026: Open Call 📣✨

R.A.R.O. Barcelona is excited to announce our Autumn 2026 Residency Open Call, taking place at Casa R.A.R.O. — a space for artistic production, research, exchange, and experimentation in the heart of Barcelona.

This program invites artists of all nationalities and disciplines to develop their projects within a shared environment that encourages dialogue, collaboration, and contemporary artistic thinking.

Each residency concludes with an Open Studio, offering artists the opportunity to share their process and work with the public.

Residency Options:

🔸 Option 1: August 31st to September 25th, 2026.
🔸 Option 2: October 5th to 30th, 2026.
🔸 Option 3: November 2nd to 27th, 2026.

🗓 Application Deadline: September 15th, 2026

Join us this fall for a month of creation, connection, and artistic exchange in Barcelona.

Duration of residency
From 3 weeks to 2 months

Accommodation
Even though we do not offer accommodation, we can help residents to find affordable artists minded accommodations.  

Disciplines, work equipment and assistance
Casa R.A.R.O. offers a multidisciplinary space where artists can work in a wide variety of techniques form painting, drawing and collage to performance and video art.  

Studio / Workspace
Casa R.A.R.O. is a space for artistic production, research and diffusion of more than 300 m2 located in the heart of the city of Barcelona.

Fees and support

Expectations towards the artist
A final presentation of the work in an Open Studio format.
