Writers & Artists Residency in San Miguel de Allende 2027

Camino Al Arte is located in the historic rural community of Atotonilco, approximately 20 minutes from downtown San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico.

The residency welcomes artists, writers, and creative practitioners from different disciplines and backgrounds. Residents benefit from a private 40 m² studio, independent accommodation, shared facilities, and a peaceful environment in which to focus on their creative practice.

Camino Al Arte offers opportunities to connect with local artists, writers, makers, and cultural practitioners, as well as to experience the traditions, stories, and living knowledge of the surrounding communities, including those of Otomí heritage.

The program is self-guided, allowing residents to develop their own projects and working rhythms. Depending on the residency period and the nature of their projects, residents may participate in exhibitions, presentations, workshops, open studios, and community activities organized by Camino Al Arte.
