Agni Residency

AGNI Residency is an international contemporary art residency based in Bangkok, Thailand, developed as part of the AGNI ecosystem alongside AGNI Gallery. The residency supports emerging and mid-career artists working across painting, sculpture, installation, ceramics, digital media, sound, performance, and hybrid practices, offering dedicated studio space, curatorial mentorship, and production support within a purpose-built floor of AGNI's Bangkok building.

Positioned in one of Southeast Asia's most dynamic cultural capitals, AGNI Residency connects artists to a growing regional and international network, hosting a mix of Thai and international artists in each cohort. Sessions run approximately three months, with facilities including individual studios and specialist spaces for ceramics, woodworking, printmaking, and performance.

Selection is guided by an international curatorial structure, drawing on curators and art professionals from Southeast Asia, Europe, and North America. The residency culminates in exhibitions, open studios, and public programs presented through AGNI Gallery and partner institutions.
