Ruby Mountain Project (RMP) is a collaborative art and community space in the Mojave Desert of Southern California, northwest of Joshua Tree. Rooted in art, connection, and land stewardship, RMP spans five acres with eight hand-built structures, multiple art studios, and outdoor sculptures created and maintained by a growing community over the past decade.
RMP offers artist residencies, workshops, open studio visits, community gatherings, seasonal events, retreats, volunteer and work-trade opportunities.
Grounded in reciprocity, care, and an embodied relationship with the land, RMP supports climate-resilient desert habitat while fostering meaningful connection, creativity, and belonging. The project prioritizes supportive spaces for marginalized artists and serves as a land-based creative hub for local and international communities.
