Join us for the first ever Janis Brenner-Moulin/Belle Residency!

Janis Brenner, an internationally-acclaimed dancer/choreographer/singer/educator and Artistic Director of Janis Brenner & Dancers in NYC, has toured in 36 countries, and teaches Improvisation, Composition/Choreography, Voice/Interdisciplinary work, and JB Repertory worldwide.

The Improvisation-into-Choreography Workshop is a 1-week intensive for pre-professional and professional level dancers. We will be exploring Solo, Duet, and Group Improvisations leading into Solo and Duet Choreography. Includes daily warm-up class, choreographic tools, daily rehearsals and a final showcase!

Limited to 8 people!

This residency will take place at Moulin/Belle, which is located in the southwest region of France. It is accessible from both Paris and Bordeaux airports.

Additional Eligibility Information

Applicants must be a minimum of 18 years of age, and able to travel. Our housing does involve a staircase and a small sloping driveway.

Applicants should have either pre-professional training, or be a current professional, looking to explore their voice and strength as a choreographer.
