Oatmeal Creek is a residency for writers of any kind. The residency is situated on 240 private acres in the Texas Hill Country northwest of Austin, Texas. The property has 5 miles of groomed trails which provide solitude as well as a place for exploration. Each year during March and April there are 3 separate individual residencies awarded. Residencies are 19 days long. Accommodations are a fully equipped 3 bedroom house. The resident is responsible for their own meals and housekeeping. Oatmeal Creek offers a stipend. The resident is responsible for their transportation to Austin, Texas as well as their meal expense. For more information go to our website at oatmealcreek.org.
