Since 1976, Sculpture Space has been a launchpad for more than 630 visionary artists from across the globe—a place where bold ideas take shape and connections spark across materials, cultures, and generations.

The climate crisis is an urgent global concern.

Artists, writers, performers, musicians, and creative professionals of all disciplines are encouraged to customize their time and conduct self-directed residencies. Projects might be the creative work of an individual or encompass the collaborative work of a group.

Resident artists will be embedded with a local community organization during the first week of residency to learn about the mission and goals of the organization, so as to be inspired with ideas for creative projects which will engage a broader cross-section of the public in those goals and missi

The Sharpe-Walentas Studio Program awards rent-free non-living studio space to 17 visual artists for year-long residencies in DUMBO, Brooklyn. Its mission is to provide working studio space and community for artists.

Sheepscot Arts Preserve is a new artist residency center that is dedicated to supporting Visionary, Outsider and Narrative (Visual) Artists of all disciplines with an emphasis on visual artists. We are located on 42 beautiful acres bordering the Sheepscot River in Alna, Maine.
