We ask that all programs affirm a set of shared values and expectations. Before applying, please consider whether your program:

• subsidizes at least some of the cost of the residency for artists (meaning artists are not simply paying “rent” for their time in residence);
• is transparent with artists about what is being offered, including facilities, expectations, and any financial support;
• provides dedicated staff support and conditions for artists to feel welcomed and cared for.
