📣 Rauschenberg Emergency Grants for Artists in Crisis 

Dancers and artists across the U.S. facing financial or medical emergencies can apply for one-time grants of up to $5,000. The next cycle of Rauschenberg Dancer Emergency Grant applications closes August 12; the next Rauschenberg Medical Emergency Grant cycle closes September 9.

 

📣 Call to Action: Speak Up to Advance Arts Funding 

While the Senate has proposed maintaining NEA/NEH funding at $207M, the House recommends cuts to $135M. Through September, join the Cultural Advocacy Group’s Call To Action urging lawmakers to fully fund the NEA, NEH, and IMLS in FY 2026.

 

📣 Upcoming Visa Changes for International Artists 

Artists from Abroad reports that, beginning September 2, all international artists will be required to attend consular interviews. Increased fees and visa bonds are expected, with additional delays in processing times.

The American for the Arts Action Fund has assembled a new comprehensive guide tracking recent executive orders and their implications for artists and cultural organizations nationwide.
