La Wayaka Current

La Wayaka Current is an artist-led organisation working at the intersection of ecology, territory and contemporary creative practice. Since 2015, we have developed site-responsive residencies, research programmes, exhibitions, and public initiatives across Latin America and the UK, supporting interdisciplinary exchange through place-based and non-extractive approaches. Working with artists, researchers, and local collaborators from over 50 countries, our programmes foster critical reflection, experimentation, and dialogue in connection with living ecosystems and cultural contexts.
