Limen

LIMEN is organized in partnership with Berlin Film Community, an association of over 30,000 followers dedicated to supporting independent filmmaking and visual arts practice. LIMEN was co-founded by Linda Paganelli and Adriano Lostia — both long-standing members and co-founders of Berlin Film Community — bringing together Paganelli's background in visual anthropology and decolonial, queer-feminist filmmaking with Lostia's work spanning documentary film, humanitarian project management, and grassroots organizing.

Based at Casa M, a restored manor house in the medieval village of Siddi, Sardinia, LIMEN operates as a small, independently run residency — this is its inaugural edition, launching October 2026, with a long-term intention to continue as an annual program supporting artists working at the intersection of memory, land, and political and queer inquiry.
