Associated Residency Program
Caldera’s Fee Based Artist Residency (FAiR) offers artists, scientists, and cultural workers dedicated time to focus on their creative work in the natural landscape of Central Oregon.
Residents stay in private lodging on the property and have access to studio space throughout the 12-day session. Each residency begins and concludes with a shared community dinner prepared by local chefs, creating space for connection among artists.
This residency welcomes applicants working across mediums and interdisciplinary practices. Time at Caldera is often used to explore new ideas, experiment with unfamiliar materials, or continue developing ongoing work.
Revenue from FAiR supports Caldera’s Artists in Residence program and youth programming. Caldera also continues to offer stipended residencies designed for artists from historically underrepresented communities.
