The Local Saugerties at Silver Sun Residency invites performing arts professionals—those working across the performing arts ecosystem and musicians and dancers from anywhere in the world to apply for a 13-day residency in the heart of Woodstock, NY in the Hudson Valley, at no cost. We welcome agents, managers, producers, musicians, dancers, administrators, lighting designers, and others whose work supports and shapes the performing arts field to apply.

This residency is designed as a space to step away from the demands of daily work, reconnect with your creative instincts, and gain perspective. Residents may choose to rest and recharge, develop new ideas, or focus on a specific project—but a defined outcome is not required.

Residents will have exclusive use of a large 19th-century, three-bedroom, three-bathroom home set on 12 acres of a converted dairy farm for stays with family, friends or colleagues. The space includes a kitchen, living room, meeting room, and a flexible workspace with WiFi. There is one master bedroom with king bed; one bedroom with queen bed; one bedroom with two twin beds. You provide your own food and other essentials.  House provides linens and towels.
