Nature, Art & Habitat Residency, An ECO-Laboratory of Multidisciplinary Practice, located in Taleggio Valley, Bergamo, Italy, and an outpost in Santa Ynez Valley, California, is a program that aims to unfold and display a sensitive type of culture that relates to nature as a source of inspiration and a measure of available resources. The ultimate goal of NAHR is to unveil intimate links among all living organisms for more resilient development in which humans and nature are shown to coexist.

With the onset of the Anthropocene and considering current pressing climatic threats, the NAHR supports deep investigations into this environment and its functions by challenging creative and critical minds to produce innovative interpretations.

In addition to free participation in the residency and workshops, and free accommodations (apply to selected programs), NAHR provides to the selected residents support for community exchange in a verdant and ecologically-diverse, environmental setting. It offers a variety of topographies which invite investigation, and which we hope will inspire sensitive, multi-disciplinary approaches giving form and focus to finished projects.
