The Wells International Foundation (WIF) is a U. S. non-profit organization whose mission is to empower women, children and youth, and persons of African descent to realize their highest potential through arts, literacy, study abroad, and other educational and cultural programs. We are building a network of global citizens who embrace inclusiveness and foster a spirit of cooperation throughout the world.

Our Beauford Delaney Project (BDP) is a digital humanities initiative that honors the life and legacy of Beauford Delaney—an artist whose work transcended boundaries, even as it was shaped by his experiences as a Black man in the United States and abroad.

Resonance is an interdisciplinary initiative of The Beauford Delaney Project that invites scholars, artists, musicians, writers, students, and other creative thinkers to enter into conversation with the life, work, and legacy of Beauford Delaney. These conversations foster new ways of seeing, interpreting, and sharing his work, revealing how Delaney's vision continues to inspire inquiry and creative expression across disciplines and generations.
