Bunnell Street Arts Center's "Alaska AIR" Artist in Residence program invites artists to explore creative placemaking and themes such as accessibility, equity & inclusion, decolonization, sustainability, anti-racism, skills sharing and exchange, community wellbeing, and more. Bunnell sparks artistic inquiry, innovation and equity to strengthen the physical, social and economic fabric of Alaska. Artist-led projects may be in any media or genre.

Since 1981, Bemis has provided more than 1,000 artists dedicated time, space, and resources to conduct research and create new work. Bemis offers artists private live/work studios, financial support, technical/administrative assistance, and opportunities for intellectual discourse about contemporary art.

Founded in 1977 by Doris Leeper, an internationally known sculptor and painter, and a visionary environmentalist, Atlantic Center for the Arts (ACA) is an innovative non-profit 3-week artist-in-residence program that provides artists the opportunity to work, collaborate, and be mentored by some of the world's distinguished artists in the visual, literary, and performing arts. The facility is located in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. Over 3500 artists have been served from the US and around the world

Art Omi has five distinct residency programs. Through a competitive jury process, residents are chosen, invited to attend at no cost to themselves, except travel. Abundant, catered meals and comfortable, beautiful lodgings are provided in a scenic location in Columbia County, New York. Art Omi is two hours north of New York City by train.

The Anderson Center, founded in 1995 on the Tower View estate in rural Red Wing, Minn., USA, has renovated and restored historic buildings to support working artists and the creative process, including developing twenty-two active studio spaces and three galleries. A renovated barn serves as a performance and event venue, the historic main residence houses artists-in-residence, and fifteen acres support a sculpture garden.

Three cabin residencies at the edge of the wilderness in historic Dyea, near Skagway, Alaska

ACRE’s Residency Program takes place every summer in the Driftless region of Wisconsin. Set on 1,000 acres of wetland, hills, and farmland, the residency hosts emerging artists who live and work in a communal setting that includes expansive work spaces, kitchen serving three meals per day, performance stage, wood shop, art and tech facility, and sound, fiber, screenprinting, metalwork, and ceramics studios. A visiting artist program and in-depth demos and workshops are also offered to residents.

A Studio in the Woods, located in eight forested acres on the Mississippi River in Bulbancha/New Orleans, is dedicated to forest preservation, science-inspired art engagement, and providing a peaceful retreat for artists and scholars who are tackling the challenging issues of our time with power and imagination.
