Associated Residency Program
The NIRMAN Residencies offer time and space for sustained artistic and research practice within a living campus. Bringing together international cohorts of residents, the programme supports independent work while providing opportunities for dialogue across disciplines and practices.
Some residents work primarily in solitude, while others engage more actively with the life of the campus through conversations, workshops, or shared activities. Residency experiences include communal meals, a Hindustani music baithak, a forest walk, a boat journey on the Ganga, and a concluding public showcase. Participation in community activities is always optional, allowing each resident to find their own balance between focused independent work and engagement with campus life.
The programme includes Independent, Collaborative, Thematic, and Family & Extended Residencies, allowing different forms of creative and research practice to find an appropriate context.
