BenAmil

BenAmil is an interdisciplinary artist residency located in El Cedral, Cozumel, Quintana Roo, Mexico. Set in the rural, tropical landscape of the Mexican Caribbean, it welcomes artists, arts managers, intellectuals, organizations and institutions developing artistic or cultural projects. BenAmil offers accommodation, creative spaces, material resources, logistics, communications and cultural management. Its facilities include a studio with a bathroom, a palapa with a kitchen and creative workspace, a cabin for up to ten people, gardens, an orchard and unconventional open spaces in the jungle. Whenever possible, residents share their creative process with the local community through a presentation or exhibition.
