Obee Editions

Obee Editions is a collaborative fine art printmaking studio founded in 2016 by Tamarind Master Printer Perry Obee and based in Black Mountain, North Carolina, near Asheville. Rooted in the rich artistic culture of Western North Carolina, the studio works one-on-one with artists to develop original print projects through traditional and contemporary printmaking techniques.

Obee Editions partners with both established and emerging artists across disciplines, providing technical expertise, professional production, and a supportive environment for experimentation, risk-taking, and creative growth. Through collaborative publishing projects, residencies, and visiting artist programs, the studio aims to expand access to printmaking while broadening the range of voices represented in contemporary print practice.

The Obee Editions Residency offers immersive, process-driven collaborations in lithography, monotype, relief, chine collé, artist books, and hybrid print processes. Artists work closely with the master printer to develop projects that evolve through dialogue, experimentation, and hands-on studio practice.
