PS21 is a nationally-recognized presenter and developer of ambitious live performance spanning music, dance, theatre, technology, installation, and boundary-defying genres, nestled at the intersection between nature and the arts on our 100-acre campus in New York’s Hudson Valley. A year-round “hub for adventurous art” (The New York Times), PS21 provides affordable tickets and access to productions by leading international artists in our open-air theater and within our community.
On our open-air Pavilion Theater stage, in our Black Box Theater, across our expansive grounds—and in our surrounding communities—PS21 cultivates and presents productions that transcend boundaries and encourage your expression and participation. Our programming often engages creatively with critical global and social issues: you’ll leave recharged, invigorated, and perhaps thinking differently.
Our year-round residency program supports the creation and development of new work—nurturing artists by providing onsite housing, technical resources, and an environment conducive to creativity.
