Warin Lab Nomad is a Bangkok-based arts initiative operating two complementary programs at the intersection of ecology, interdisciplinary practice, and international cultural exchange.
Nomad Art Residency Bangkok is a residency program rooted in the Khlong San district on the bank of the Chao Phraya river, supporting mid-career international artists, curators, writers, choreographers, and creative technologists through intellectually rigorous cycles anchored by a published thematic research question. The residency operates in close partnership with Warin Lab Contemporary, a Bangkok-based gallery with an internationally recognized practice rooted in ecology and long-term artist relationships.
Warin Lab Nomad’s second program is a roaming exhibitions initiative that carries artistic conversations across geographies without being tied to a permanent space; taking work and ideas into specific communities and sites beyond the gallery or institution.
Together, the two programs reflect a shared conviction: that meaningful art emerges from genuine encounter with place, community, and ideas that resist easy resolution.
