Asia Culture Center International Residency

Dong-gu, Gwangju, South Korea

ACC is an international arts and culture organization committed to bringing together and fostering exchange among different regions and disciplines. Since its beginning in 2015, ACC Residency has served as a platform to experiment and exchange new ideas, breaking free from conventional ways of art-making, and expanded its genre and fields for artists and researchers across the world.

ACC Residency supports the creation and research of various fields of culture and art with five sectors: ACC_R Art&technology, ACC_R Visual arts, ACC_R Design, ACC_R Theater, ACC_R Dialogue. The residency puts no restriction on the field of study and welcomes various types of work including performing art, research and critique, design, and artworks based on technology and science. The residency will be operated in close connection with each other. In addition to the residency, there are lectures, workshops, research tours, and professional mentor matching that will stimulate exchange and deeper thinking and inspire participants the come up with differentiated outcomes. As one of its year-round programs, ACC Residency is a platform for research, creation, and production that brings together creative talents from around the world to share their knowledge, technological insight, and experience.
