Boyne City, MI, United States

RADicle is The Croft Residency's collaborative residency with RAD Fest in Kalamazoo, MI. The residency includes a fall residency at The Croft, usually in September, and a performance opportunity the following spring as a featured artist at RAD Fest in Kalamazoo, in early March. RADicle is one of the awarded residencies that The Croft hosts. Each residency is for a movement artist and their collaborators. The Croft can host up to 4 artist/collaborators as a part of each residency. The RADicle residents will have access to the rehearsal spaces at The Croft Residency and studio space in a Petoskey, a small town close to the residency. While in residence, the artists are required to give a gift to the land everyday, to leave a gift for the next residents, and to engage with local community through an engagement that supports their creative practice. The RADicle residency length is 1-2 weeks. The specific length of the residency, within this frame, is up the artists. Each collaborator will receive a $575 stipend for their time. Artists will be reimbursed for travel costs up to $500.
