We have expanded our COVID-19 Residency Preparedness + Response page where you can explore AAC field surveys, letters to the field, and a compilation of resources organized by topic.
New additions include:
- A timely Dance Magazine article by Raja Feather Kelly who questions “Has Anyone Asked Artists What They Need?”
- W.A.G.E.’s Guidelines for the Postponement or Cancellation of Work
- The National Endowment for the Arts' guide to making your virtual convenings accessible to participants with disabilities.
- FAKEQUITY’s 33 questions to prepare for the future. Or now.
- An hour-long workshop from Creative Capital on centering wellness and self-care for creatives.
The Alliance of Artists Communities (AAC) is monitoring the impact of COVID-19 (coronavirus) on the residency field and its practitioners and artists. In addition to the following resources, AAC offers weekly #ResidenciesConnect sessions engaging a variety of AAC Affinity Groups and topics. In addition, we continue to share resources through our FAQ for Residency Practitioners and our Residency Preparedness + Response to COVID-19 Guide. Contribute your organization's resources/documents/communications through this Google form.
