Nekubi Art Residency

Nekubi Art Residency is a lively artist led community space 
located at the historic city of Kavala by the North Aegean Coast in Greece. International Artists are invited to participate through our annual open calls and become part of the experience. 

Through our annual open calls, we host art exhibitions, performances, workshops on a weekly basis and we aim to spark creative dialogues between artists in residence and our local art scene aficionados, share fresh ideas and start possible new collaborations.

We operate from nekubi art space for visual & sound arts, a calm, friendly environment, ideal for diverse artistic creation, interaction and expression. 

The modular art space consists of: 

- a library / art store cafe, 
- a studio - workshop area equipped with a big working bench & art easels, 
- an exhibition / performance space geared with light, sound and projection systems, 
- a radio / lounge area with dj booth, tons of sounds and broadcasting facilities

Our tribe is here to make sure that artists and guests feel like home. The team behind nekubi is a group of young individuals who share creative friendships that turn the working spectrum into a family like environment.
