The Oolite Arts’ Studio Residency Program provides artists with the time, space and resources to reach new levels of excellence. Oolite Arts Studio Residents receive free studio space at the organization’s headquarters on Miami Beach, in addition to critical connections with arts leaders, exhibition opportunities and financial resources that can lead to career-changing opportunities, and a community where artists can learn from each other and experiment with new work.

Studio Residents who have lived in Miami-Dade County for at least two years will also receive the Knight Artist Housing Stipend, a $12,000-a-year stipend to ease the impact of the region’s affordability crisis, thanks to support from the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation.

Studio Residency Program Benefits

Oolite Arts is committed to making its website, programs, and facilities accessible to all our visitors.

Facility:
The main entrance doors can be opened automatically using an activation push button. The restroom located at the back of the building on the main floor is wheelchair accessible. The exhibition space and the administrative offices located on the second floor are accessible by elevator, which has Braille markers.

Digital Accessibility:
We are working to ensure all of our images and multimedia are accessible through alternative text and captions.
