Open Call 2026

Associated Residency Program

Apply now to the 2026 editions of the Art Omi: Architecture, Art Omi: Artists, Art Omi: Music, and Art Omi: Writers international residency programs! There is no fee to apply. The deadline for applications is Wednesday, October 15, 2025 by 11:59 PM EST.

Through a competitive jury process, residents are invited to attend Art Omi's residencies at no cost, except travel expenses. Art Omi offers residents the time and space to hone their own craft while cultivating a vibrant community of artists from around the globe.

Comfortable lodgings and dedicated workspaces are nestled among the rolling meadowlands and woodlands of Art Omi’s bucolic 120-acre campus, located in New York’s Hudson Valley, two-and-a-half hours north of New York City. Residents are nourished with fresh, prepared meals and immersed in a dynamic, creative ecosystem flourishing at the intersection of nature, art, and architecture in our Sculpture & Architecture Park.

📐 Art Omi: Architecture is the first residency program of its kind in the U.S., inviting early- to mid-career architects from across the world to develop their work. The program nurtures experimentation in environs that offer a singular blend of rural quiet and cultural stimulation.

Dates: May 28–June 15, 2026

🎨 Art Omi: Artists invites artists from all over the world, representing a wide diversity of artistic styles and practices. Concentrated time for studio work is balanced with cultural exchange and critical appraisal, fostering deep creative and professional connections.

Dates: June 18–July 13, 2026

🎶 Art Omi: Music welcomes musicians and composers working in all genres and hailing from around the globe for a uniquely collaborative music-making residency. Residents are encouraged to perform each other’s works and write music for one another, while exploring their own musical vision.

Dates: Aug 13–31, 2026
