The Weaving Workshop offers one-month Artist Residencies for up to three artists each month. Designed for artists seeking dedicated studio time within a creative community, the residency includes 24-hour studio access (except during workshops), a dedicated storage shelf, use of shared tools and equipment, discounted basketry materials, and a closing exhibition with reception.
Residents contribute 5–8 hours of studio stewardship each week, typically over two days. Stewardship is flexible and may include welcoming visitors, answering questions about your work and The Weaving Workshop, assisting with class setup and cleanup, maintaining shared studio spaces, preparing workshop materials, participating in one public program (artist talk, demonstration, or open studio), and sharing occasional residency updates. Many stewardship activities can be completed while working on your own practice.
Please note that housing, travel, and stipends are not provided. Artists are responsible for arranging and covering their own accommodations and travel expenses.
