Jackrabbit Studios is a creative sanctuary and retreat space in the Southern California High Desert where artists, healers, makers, and thinkers are welcome, encouraged, and quite often: transformed. Our five acres of secluded and sublime desert expanse invite an opportunity for inner and outer landscapes to converge and intertwine, deep insight to be distilled, and fresh perspectives to emerge.

We invite creatives and facilitators in any stage of practice—however budding or in bloom, and in whatever version of hesitation or shadow. Designed as a loving witness and safe backdrop for practice and refinement, Jackrabbit Studios welcomes you to craft a residency or retreat to meet you in this season of practice—and evolve you to the next one. 

Prior residents have composed and arranged albums achieving 'meteoric star power'; dreamt and designed new clothing lines; choreographed and filmed future stage performances; penned poems of owls soon to be printed by Penguin and self-published a book of field notes from the land; self-organized a queer BIPOC communal residency and showcase; drafted successful entries for major conferences and revamped business plans with necessary perspective. Creative families have grown here, and found families have gotten quite creative. And those who've arrived sola have been awakened and reminded by vast and deep connectivity.
