Artists in Residence Program

Artists in Residence Program

West Palm Beach, FL, United States

Specifically, the Artists-in-Residence program draws a diverse group of emerging artists who have earned at minimum a BFA.  Artists-in-Residence are responsible for teaching classes in varied disciplines to our diverse student community. Therefore, they have the opportunity to refine their skills through teaching workshops, classes, and by participating in special events. The Armory Art Center provides studio space and freedom to develop the artists’ work. Furthermore, artists-in-residence are additionally required to exhibit work created during their tenure. Finally, compensation includes payment for teaching and a monthly stipend for departmental assistance and community event participation.
