List og Land at Laugaból Farm in Iceland’s Westfjords region is distinct for extraordinary solitude and beauty.  Residents can draw inspiration from the incredible Icelandic natural features surrounding the residency: ancient volcanos, waterfalls, rivers, mountains, valleys and the sea.

Loghaven is dedicated to supporting artists with all the resources needed to create innovative new work. To us, this means not only providing time and space and an inspiring setting; it means financial support. We believe artists should be compensated for their time and contribution to society.

This is a live/work residency that is embedded in a small (9-room) hospitality business called Travelers New Orleans. New Orleans, like most cities, has become increasingly unaffordable for artists and others who seek to live creatively.

The Longfellow Emerging Artist Fellowship (LEAF) is a bold new initiative from One Longfellow Square, created to support early-career, Maine-based musicians in building sustainable, fulfilling lives as working artists.

The goal of the Lucid Art Residency Program is to provide artists with a serene, retreat-like natural environment for creative exploration and inquiry into arts and consciousness.

Ma’s House’s Artist-In-Residency program is open to US-based creatives of color working in any genre of visual art, creative writing, and performance arts.

MacDowell is an artist residency program located in the small town of Peterborough, New Hampshire.  Artists-in-residence need to be comfortable with a degree of solitude and disconnection from the outside world. Studios are comfortably furnished with the artists’ needs in mind.

MADE brings together a select group of Creatives from different, but related fields, with different expertise, under the same roof where each can engage and share with one another distinct perspectives, skills, and reflections.

This is an ongoing programme open all year round for artists of all disciplines. The theme and focus of the programme is the emergence of the authentic self through creativity. The programme is self directed and self funded. 

Manship Artists Residency is dedicated to the preservation of an environmentally and historically significant site that has been given new life as an international, interdisciplinary artists residency for the benefit of the community and visitors to Cape Ann.

Marathons engage the practices of drawing, painting, and sculpture as direct methodologies for understanding one’s experience in the world. Open to artists of all levels, courses are taught daily in-person or virtually in real time from 9am–6pm ET.

Marble House Project is a multi-disciplinary artist residency program that fosters collaboration & the exchange of ideas by providing an environment for artists across disciplines to live and work side by side.

Located in the remote tropical mountain jungle, Mauser Ecohouse creates a unique tranquil, inspirational, health-conscious, and community-minded living experience for the artists.

The McColl Center's internationally acclaimed Artist-in-Residence program serves as a catalyst for growth for emerging and mid-career artists.

Mentorship Residency Program

Mesa Refuge welcomes a diverse group of writers, filmmakers, audio journalists and other creatives—both emerging and established—who are defining and/or offering solutions to the pressing issues of our time.

Our Core Residency program -- we will celebrate our 50th anniversary in July 2023 -- is one of the longest-running in country.

The Steepletop Residency, inaugurated in 2021, is a partially-subsized one-month stay; intended for scholars and creatives with institutional or private funding, cost is $3000.

From mid-December through late March yearly we offer the Wintertide Rustic Retreat with reduced-fee stays (does not include food/groceries) from a long weekend to one month.  Alumni of our Core and Steepletop residences may also apply to stay for free with work/trade.

We provide accepted artists with space and time to create new work without the interruptions of normal life and with the bonus of healthy meals. During each residency, we host visiting artist presentations as well as resident "show & tells" -- both are dessert potlucks.

Purpose: The “Miss Sarah” Fellowship for Black Women Writers aims to provide Black women writers a restful environment conducive to reflection and writing.

MMCA Residency, run by the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Korea (MMCA), is now receiving applications for the International Artist Residency Program 2023.

The Moab Arts Re-Use Residency (MARR) program's mission is to challenge today's waste-making culture by providing a unique platform for artists at the intersection of art, community, and waste systems. The Moab area is highly impacted by the tourism industry, and, as a result, waste management.
