ACA Presents:
Summer + Fall 2022 Programs

For the past two years, Artist Communities Alliance has worked to foster connectivity and knowledge-sharing online. We have developed a robust set of year-round virtual programs including #ResidenciesConnect sessions, field-wide conversations, and the Equitable Capacity Workshop series.

ACA will continue to virtually unite and support the people who power residencies. If you hope to meet in-person with programs in your region and you think ACA may be able to help facilitate these connections, let us know by contacting ACA’s Engagement Coordinator, Miranda Macaulay Miller, at mmiller@artistcommunities.org. We will do our best to support all types of network-building.

ACA Network Orientation
Tuesday, July 19 | 1:00pm-1:45pm ET
ACA Members only

Did your organization recently join the Artist Communities Alliance Member Network? Are you a new staff or board member at a longtime ACA member program? If you fall into one of these categories or if you just want to learn more about the benefits available to you as part of the ACA Network, attend an ACA Network Orientation!

ACA will host our next orientation on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 from 1:00pm - 1:45pm ET. During this time, we will share information about your ACA member benefits, answer any questions you may have about your program's residency profile in the ACA Directory, and provide time for you to get to know other programs in the network.

Register for ACA Network Orientation here. Multiple staff members may attend this session. Please complete a separate registration form for all participants.

We will send a calendar invite with Zoom information prior to the session.

#ResidenciesConnect
Tech Transformation: Utilizing Digital Resources for Your Residency
Thursday, July 28 | 1:00pm-2:30pm ET
ACA Members only

Technology has the potential to improve the residency experience for artists and staff alike. From artist feedback and site management to donor outreach and scheduling, more residency programs are turning to technology to streamline processes, improve organization and track important information. However, with the countless platforms and programs out there, it can be difficult to determine the best technology for your program.

Join your peers for ACA’s upcoming #ResidenciesConnect session to discuss all things technology — what you’re looking for, what has worked, and what hasn’t. This session will begin with a share out from a few residency programs followed by breakout sessions for deeper discussion and resource exchange.

This event is free for current ACA members. Register by Wednesday, July 27.

ACA is committed to providing full access to all. This session will be captioned by Zoom ai software. Please send accessibility and accommodation inquiries and requests to programs@artistcommunities.org by Thursday, July 21.

If you would like to become an ACA member, join the network. If your membership has lapsed or you are unsure of your membership status, contact ACA’s Engagement Coordinator, Miranda Macaulay Miller at mmiller@artistcommunities.org. Please do not register for this session if you are not a current ACA member — ACA staff will verify the membership status of all registrants.

ACA is committed to providing full access to all. This session will be captioned by Zoom ai software. Please send accessibility and accommodation inquiries and requests to programs@artistcommunities.org by Thursday, August 18.
