List og Land at Laugaból Farm in Iceland’s Westfjords region is distinct for extraordinary solitude and beauty. Residents can draw inspiration from the incredible Icelandic natural features surrounding the residency: ancient volcanos, waterfalls, rivers, mountains, valleys and the sea. It is possible to hike for hours without leaving the property. Stone ruins can be found scattered across the 4000+ acres of our grounds. It is not uncommon for residents to be visited by whales, seals, arctic foxes, huldufólk, and swans.
A geothermal hot tub and wood-burning sauna are also available for the writers.
The day before your flight home, there will be an optional sightseeing tour to Reykjarfjörður hot pool and the A House in Fossfjorður and more. This tour is included in the total price.
