Residency Programs Profiles

The Kaatsbaan Cultural Park Weekend Retreat Residency Program ​​provides opportunities for artists of all genres to create, live, and collaborate in the idyllic countryside of the Hudson Valley.

Kinship Studio residency and retreat center welcomes photographers and creative makers of all skill levels looking to seed, incubate, launch, or complete personal work or community projects. 

KODA offers an artist residency program for two mid-career, female-identifying and/or non-binary artists who create conceptual and socially engaged work. The Fall 2025 residency will span from August 1-October 31, 2025. The program is placed under the theme of Peace-Building.

The Art Residency Program of La Maison de Beaumont is a multi-disciplinary residency that was created with the goal of offering an idyllic space for musicians, scholars, writers, painters and other artists who seek a quiet place to work undisturbed on their art.

Mentorship Residency Program

Our Core Residency program -- we will celebrate our 50th anniversary in July 2023 -- is one of the longest-running in country.

The Steepletop Residency, inaugurated in 2021, is a partially-subsized one-month stay; intended for scholars and creatives with institutional or private funding, cost is $3000.

From mid-December through late March yearly we offer the Wintertide Rustic Retreat with reduced-fee stays (does not include food/groceries) from a long weekend to one month.  Alumni of our Core and Steepletop residences may also apply to stay for free with work/trade.

The Moab Arts Re-Use Residency (MARR) program's mission is to challenge today's waste-making culture by providing a unique platform for artists at the intersection of art, community, and waste systems. The Moab area is highly impacted by the tourism industry, and, as a result, waste management.

Moku Art Studio's mission is to create a space that highlights art concerning environmental issues such as ocean conservation, education, and protection, as well as sustainability.

Monson Arts is an artists' residency and arts center in Monson, Maine. The goal of the residency program is to provide time and space for artists and writers to devote to their creative practices.

The Montello Foundation provides a solitary retreat where artists can experience the vastness of a desert landscape from a safe building, a “base camp” a unique space for inspiration and creation, a place that provides a shield from distractions in the solitude of the desert.

,Mother’s Milk is a 2-6 week interdisciplinary residency, supporting three or four visual artists, sound artists, dancers/choreographers, and creative writers at a time pursuing innovative work in their field.
