Villa Barr is the most recent addition to the parks and recreation division of the City of Novi, Michigan.

Our Visual Arts Residency supports artists in experimenting with their craft and developing their focus or testing new ideas, while also engaging in vital public dialogue.

The Volland Residency program provides time and space for creative practitioners of a wide range of disciplines to gather in a community setting for work, thought and exchange of ideas. Volland offers three rarities in today’s world: quiet, darkness, solitude.

V4L initiates and facilitates customized creative residencies across all disciplines.

In 1999, Wildacres Retreat opened our residency program for artists. Since that time, we have had the opportunity to host hundreds of writers, artisans, and musicians. Participants in the program stay in one of three self-catering cabins located just a quarter-mile beyond the retreat entrance.

The Environmental Artist-in-Residence Program at Wildacres Retreat welcomes artists, scientists and other professionals engaging with ambitious ideas and who are activity-focused on current global environmental issues.

The Edward F. Albee Foundation exists to serve writers and visual artists from all walks of life, by providing time and space in which to work without disturbance. 

Using only talent and need as the criteria for selection, the Foundation invites any and all artists to apply. 

The Skopelos Foundation for the Arts was established as a non-profit organization in 1999 by the Founder, Gloria Carr. For years it was her vision to create a studio for artists. She wasn’t sure where it would be set up until 1996 when she visited the island of Skopelos.

LMCC’s longest running residency program, Workspace, is a nine-month studio-based program that focuses on the creative process and cohort development of emerging artists.
