Artists in Residence in Everglades (AIRIE) in partnership with the Everglades National Park, empowers artists to think creatively and critically about their relationship to the environment with a mission of revealing new paths forward.

Since 2001, AIRIE has welcomed over 190 artists, writers, curators, choreographers, musicians and other creatives to its residency program, permeating the national and international art landscape with unique interpretations and stories of the Everglades.

Vermont Studio Center (VSC) was founded by artists in 1984. We welcome writers and artists for residencies in Johnson, Vermont, and host online programs and events. Our mission is to provide studio residencies in an inclusive, international community, honoring creative work as the communication of spirit through form. Our buildings, many of them historic Vermont landmarks, overlook the Gihon River in the northern Green Mountains.

Created to serve artists living in the Omaha-Council Bluffs metropolitan area, the Inside/Outside Fellowship program is an opportunity for deep immersion in both studio practice and community engagement: Fellows explore materials and ideas to advance their creative practices while developing community art projects that contribute positively to this place we call home.

The Studios of Key West’s mission is to support artists, inspire creativity and build community. The Studios was founded in 2006 with the initial inspiration of simply providing space for artists to live and work, thereby drawing creative people to our island and enriching the lives of all who live in Key West and the Florida Keys. We offer studio space, workshops, a vibrant concert series, residencies, partnership projects, educational programs for kids, and nurture the creation of new work.

Launched in 2003 to serve mid-career artists, Studios Inc is Kansas City’s nonprofit arts organization that offers pivotal three-year residencies to mid-career artists who are poised to significantly expand their careers in accordance with the career goals articulated in their residency application. Its competitive application process, sharp focus on career advancement, and commitment to serve the under-served population of mid-career artists set Studios Inc apart from other artist-support organ

The Steel Yard’s historic campus is a platform for professional artists, makers, and the community to practice and learn the industrial arts. The organization fosters creative and economic opportunities, by providing workspace, tools, training, and education while forging lasting links to a local tradition of craftsmanship.

The Golden Foundation Artist Residency Program provides professional artists from all over the world, a unique opportunity to explore the wide range of paint materials, manufactured by Golden Artist Colors (Acrylics, Oils and Watercolor). This 4 week residency program includes studio and living space as well as an unlimited supply of paint materials and educational resources.

Surel’s Place honors the legacy of artist Surel Mitchell by offering her home and studio to artists of promise, and of renown, for month-long residencies and professionally supported art events. In this inspiring live/work space artists of all disciplines are given time and freedom to reflect, create, and share their work with Idahoans of all ages and backgrounds.

Sculpture Space seeks to build appreciation for the role of contemporary art and artists in society through residencies and other programs for outstanding sculptors that foster creative exploration, community collaboration, public engagement, and diversity, equity, and inclusion. Because sculpture has the power to positively transform society, we support sculptors and nurture public  discourse about important art issues. 

In 2012, the Robert Rauschenberg Foundation initiated a multidisciplinary residency program on the site of Rauschenberg's former home and studio in Captiva, Florida.

Inspired by Rauschenberg's early years at Black Mountain College where an artistic community brought out elements central to his art: exploration and collaboration, the residency advances new work, extends practices into diverse mediums, and serves as a research and development lab.
