The Croft Residency provides residents a platform to cultivate their creativity; a refuge in nature where they can draw inspiration and nourishment from the environment and share their art with the Northern Michigan community and beyond. We serve movement based creatives and bring them into relationship with the northern Michigan landscape.

Surf Point provides time, space, and support for members of the visual arts community to think, connect and create. In keeping with the vision of our founders, arts patron Mary-Leigh Smart and artist Beverly Hallam, Surf Point offers nominated artists and art professionals three-week live-work residencies in a boldly Modernist home on the coast of York, Maine.

Overlooking Cook Inlet and the heart-stopping grandeur of the Aleutian Mountain Range, Storyknife Writers Retreat, a literary nonprofit located in Homer, Alaska, hosts residencies for women from Alaska, across the United States, and internationally. Our mission is to give women writers the time and space to explore their craft without distraction. Storyknife provides women with a community to support their efforts, lifting their voices.

TOSS is an arts advocacy studio in Morganton, NC. Our mission is to foster personal and institutional transformation through arts and community organizing for rural, working class families. TOSS is an initiative of The Industrial Commons.

The artist residency program of The Truro Center for the Arts at Edgewood Farm is a program that began in 2017, developed to encourage the development of creative, intellectual and personal growth of emerging and established artists. The Artist Residency offers quiet and space in a beautiful setting with the ocean and the bay not more than a mile a way. Residents are for writers and visual artists with facilities in painting printmaking, sculpture and environmental installation.
