2024 Residency

The Anderson Center at Tower View in Red Wing, Minnesota invites emerging, mid-career, and established visual artists, writers, composers, choreographers, multidisciplinary artists, musicians, performance artists, scholars, translators and more based anywhere in the world to apply for cohort-based residencies in May, July, September, and October of 2024. The program is interdisciplinary, and the organization welcomes applications from a wide range of creative and intellectual genres, including those that don't fit neatly into the above list. The application deadline for the Anderson Center’s 2024 Artist Residency season is Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at 12 p.m. noon Central Standard Time.

The Artist Residency Program is an ideal fit for artists whose work reveals a significant potential for cultural and community impact, is technically accomplished, and engages diverse communities. The organization believes that the environment and resources of Tower View, along with an exchange of ideas between artists working across disciplines, can serve as a catalyst for new inspiration and innovative directions for the work artists create while in residence.
