EY!MAD European Mobilty

Associated Residency Program

#Ey!Studio is an independent space of contemporary creation located in
the district of Carabanchel in Madrid, which advocates to artistic
creation, dialogue and artistic research, as well as promotes, supports,
and showcases visual arts.

The #Ey!MAD arise from a commitment to participatory processes and
the democratization of contemporary artistic practices, especially aimed
at involving the community fabric of the district of Carabanchel.
The call is specifically aimed at resident women artists from any
member country of Creative Europe, except Spain, interested in artistic
research and able to address issues from a critical perspective.
The main objective is to carry out a contextual project starting from the
Carabanchel district to establish connections, in a broad sense, with
various stakeholders in the district, including associations, residents, and
others, based on the proposed research line:

- The condition of migrant women.

We are interested in projects that highlight the tangible and intangible
heritage of the past and present conditions of migrant women from a
gender perspective.
It’s important to note that we will give priority to the research process
and that the final format we request will be a public presentation, which
can be a performance, actions, installation, video, ephemeral
interventions, workshop, reading, concert, guided tour, etc.
