A paid, six-week residency for artists in the Charlotte-NC region that culminates in a gallery showcase. Artists working in any discipline are encouraged to apply. They are encouraged to experiment, take risks, and develop connections with residency alumni who work in the building.

Goodyear Arts is accepting applications for NINE local, paid artist residencies in 2024. Interested applicants must complete the application form, which will be available until January 3rd, 2023, at11:59pm (this is a non-negotiable deadline). There is no fee to apply. Applicants should carefully read through the online application before applying. They should also familiarize themselves with the history of Goodyear Arts, the nature of the studio and gallery spaces, and with work by former resident artists. They can do so by visiting the venue and/or exploring this website and our social media accounts.
